Dear Colleagues:

"Use technology to enhance your management strategy and attain your
community's vision!"

On behalf of the League of Oregon Cities, I invite you to join ICMA
members and other local government decision makers to explore how
technology is being used to achieve organization objectives.

Over three days, attendees will examine key elements and possible
outcomes of effective technology management. This workshop, scheduled
for January 28-30, 2004, is intended for elected and appointed local
government officials who are interested in innovative and effective
use
of technology in city and county government.

* Wednesday will feature a golf tournament and reception to provide an
opportunity for professional networking.

* Thursday and Friday will include a "Best Practices" showcase with a
number of communities presenting success stories and case studies.

* Friday will be highlighted by keynote speeches from the Honorable
Pete Sessions in the morning and the Honorable Michael Burgess at
lunch
(Congressmen, U.S. House of Representatives).

Speakers will highlight technology and governance innovations in their
respective jurisdictions, allowing time for your questions.

Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity. Register now to attend
January 28-30, 2004. I look forward to seeing you there!
