We have contracted with the County for several years. This includes police, fire and ambulance 24/7. Public Works by phone call list after hours and weekends. The County owns and maintains equipement, currently the cost is $34,000 annually. Past grants have went to the County for an enhanced 911 system, which we have signed off in support of as a mutual aid partner. The latest grant, which had to be included with a County EM level application (a whole nother issue), requested mobile and portable radios for the City, the result is yet to be known. I can fax our latest contract.

Hello to everyone!  I'm looking for any information regarding contract services for 9-1-1. The Town contracts with the County to provide the service.  However, the County insists on "required" involvment with the 9-1-1 on a basic day to day operation including Dispatch.  We are currently negotiating a contract and I would appreciate any input or copies of contract that any other cities may have. We are disputing ownership of equipment received through OEM and Homeland Security, etc.

Thank you so much.

Roberta
