I too agree that the safety inspections are very
helpful, but this is an actual come to the office and go through our payroll
records - It has nothing to do with safety. Wish I would have been on

have generally found the visits from CIS to be helpful in identifying and
reducing our risks. Remember that we are all part of a not-for-profit
insurance pool that keeps our insurance rates competitive vs. what we could
obtain from the private sector. Speaking as a representatie of a
jurisdiction that has had some very large claims, I appreciate their
risk-management efforts.

Hi all - How many other lucky cities get to
be audited by CIS? I think this is just another way for them to get
more money out of us - not to mention the time it is going to take for us
