I'm happy for you.  

Please remember as it gets closer to July 1st that Harrisburg/Junction
City/Coburg are the home of the best motorhomes available--Monaco, Safari,
Country Coach and Marathon.  (If the truth be known, it is the aging city
manager workforce that these companies are planning their future around.)

At the City Council goal setting workshop on Saturday, I announced my
retirement as City Manager.  I will be here through the end of June.  No
pressure from the council and overall, a very good working relationship with
them.  So no regrets, it's just time to do something else with my time.  By
a rough calculation, I'm right around 1,000 city council meetings over my
career.  I think that's quite enough!!
