The City of Medford is preparing to begin negotiation for our cable television franchise.  With the current ruling by the FCC, we wish to gather feedback from other communities on what their approach to renewal of cable franchises may include. 

For example

1. Are short-term (1-2 years) agreements being offered/accepted?

2. How are "contributions by the able company towards PEG infrastructure" being written into the contracts?

3. Are any communities utilizing a franchise negotiator to assist the process?  If yes, please forward their names and contact information.
